Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son

The Mustard™:  A simple, but funny, family film…

I must admit, I’m not usually a fan of men dressing up as women in any respect.  But aside from that, this is a decent film.  Worthy of more credit than the 2 out of 10 stars other critics are rating it.  It had some very funny parts.  The plot was relatively simple, but well woven.  Martin Lawrence is always good for a laugh.  Brandon T. Jackson is as funny, and facially expressive, as a young Chris tucker.  Just Ken Jeong’s presence on a set injects comedy.  And Jessica Lucas and Michelle Ang?  Ouch… gorgeous!   This film is worth seeing.

Plot: The son of an FBI agent accidentally witnesses a murder and gets hunted by the killer. The father and son duo disguise themselves as women, to evade assassination attempts on the son, all while trying to retrieve evidence sought by the killer.

Cast: Martin Lawrence, Brandon T. Jackson, Jessica Lucas, Michelle Ang, Portia Doubleday, Faizon Love, Ana Ortiz, Tony Curran, Henri Lubatti, Lorenzo Pisoni, Marc John Jefferies, Ken Jeong, and Trey Lindsey

Directors: John Whitesell  Writers:  Matthew Fogel, Don Rhymer, and Darryl Quarles

Genre:  Comedy  Rated: PG-13
